Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D engineers to review designs from system to component levels, providing actionable quality improvement recommendations.
- Develop and maintain risk management files, facilitating risk management activities throughout all design phases to identify potential quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to design control procedures, documenting changes and maintaining traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Build test plans to validate product features and functionalities against real-world user scenarios.
- Establish and configure testing environments.
- Verify that designs comply with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee both in-house testing and field beta testing programs, gathering user feedback and performance data.
- Investigate post-sales product failure incidents in collaboration with field and R&D engineers, verifying and reproducing reported issues.
- Conduct root cause analyses of failures.
- Partner with R&D teams to establish reaction and response plans.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss design improvements and address technical challenges.
- Provide recommendations for design modifications to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Work closely with software, hardware, and ingredient research and development teams to ensure design integrity and functionality.
