★ Responsibilities
As part of the new Data Science team, you will be working with data scientists, data engineers and software engineers on our next generation of ML-powered services. With over 1 million users and huge amounts of data being processed every day, you will be working on a variety of real-world challenges such as recommendation systems, product matching and price comparison, logistics resource allocation and fraud detection, and many other intelligent applications you can think of. You will also be involved in designing and implementing the infrastructure (AWS) to support such systems. It is a challenging but rewarding role. ★ Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- At least 2 years experience in ML/AI software development (or 3-4 years experience in backend development)
- Experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant machine learning systems
- Strong knowledge in Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g. Scikit-learn, XGBoost and PyTorch)
- Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Experience with AWS Machine Learning services (e.g. SageMaker, Personalize and Rekognition) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and love learning new technologies and open-source projects
