We are looking for a PR & Events Specialist to support the visibility of CoolBitX worldwide. The role will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of communications, through media relations and external events. The individual will be required to co-work across departments for product/new feature launches, initiate media communications and coordinate for exhibition and events.
Act as point of contact for the CoolBitX brand and product lines in engagement for public relations with media.
Lead PR agency selection when necessary and manage external agencies to achieve PR & Event KPIs.
Create and manage PR & Events plan, including budgets, timelines, etc. to contribute to the broader company objectives.
Plan, implement, and manage publicity strategies to maintain favorable public and or stakeholder perceptions through communication of the accomplishments of the CoolBitX company brand and product lines.
Oversee/write English press releases or other media communication materials to promote the CoolBitX company brand and product lines.
Pitch stories and CEO interview opportunities to journalists to maximize exposure of the CoolBitX company brand and product lines.
Build and execute event calendar through negotiations and hand-on operations
Identify the appropriate participation methods for events, such as pitch for speaking opportunities to event organizers or make arrangements for sponsorships.
At least 3+ years of relevant experience in PR & Event functions, with external agency management experience.
Must have professional Marketing & Communications experience in international markets
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese; can read, write and converse in these languages in the same manner as a native speaker
Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities while working in a fast paced environment
Proactive and creative thinker with a keen ability to execute efficiently; excellent organizational skills need to stay on track and pursue solutions without constant supervision
Self-motivated and quick learner with excellent communication skills
Past experience in Ad/PR agency, FinTech, or startups is a plus
