About us

Dcard is the biggest anonymous community in Taiwan. With millions of active users and 20 million unique visitors per month, Dcard provides a free and secure environment for our users to share their thoughts, stories, and life experience and make the world a better place through the exchange of ideas.

As we are currently expanding our business in international markets, we are looking for a Marketing & Community Manager who is passionate and talented to join us, and build the next big thing for the generation together. As a Marketing & Community Manager, you will be a member of our New Market Team and drive our business forward in Malaysian market, as you'll help us develop strategies to catch the eyes of Malaysian users and drive the user acquisition and retention. Let’s build a community to help university students in Malaysia expand their social circle!

Get to know New Market Team

There are thousands of people who share and read stories from different members on Dcard every day, so the ideas you develop and implement will immediately reach a great number of users. You will collaborate with several functional teams such as Advertising, Product, Design, and Operations to identify opportunities, create strategies and execute global expansion plans. As a member of the New Market Team, you will focus on a variety of areas and aspects related to the emerging markets to provide users with the best user experience.

What you'll do

  • Strategy
    • Develop the marketing strategy along with the marketing budget plan.
    • Develop effective media strategy for growth based on a thorough knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media planning principles across digital and traditional media.
    • Develop community/ forums/ content management strategy.
  • User insight
    • Interpret user trends/insights and turn these into relevant marketing initiatives based on a deep understanding of the market conditions.
  • Stakeholder management
    • Collaborate with key agency partners and internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing agency, product team, operations team, government, etc.)
    • Actively communicate with BU head and CEO on strategy, execution, and decision.
  • Campaign Execution
    • Lead the strategy and execution of campaigns, ensuring the audience feels local and touched, and delivers measurable user growth and retention.
    • Drive campaign from establishing the strategy to brief brainstorming, agency management, creative and media execution and ultimately measurement, optimization, and reporting.
  • Team management
    • Leads and motivates a team of marketing teammates and drives smooth team operation.
    • Provide managerial oversight and mentorship to the marketing team across campaigns and marketing program.

Qualifications

  • Language
    • Business level Malay
    • Business level Mandarin
    • Business level English
  • At least 5 years of solid marketing experience in digital media, brand, app, social media, or start-up marketing.
    • Experience in media planning, partnership marketing, and agency management is essential.
    • Proven record or result in bringing a brand/product/app to success by formulating a competitive marketing strategy
  • Have leadership experience that inspires the team and motivates the team to grow.
  • Passionate in and with extensive knowledge of the app / social media industry with a strong network of media, marketing, and brand advertising experts.
  • Understanding of social media behaviors of Malaysian users
  • Being able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where critical thinking and innovation are important to achieve success.
  • With a creative, strong, and analytical mind which allows you to identify key issues, proactively tackle problems, and always look for opportunities to optimize our working process.
  • Highly data-driven and able to identify insights from market, competitor, and user data to build recommendations on user growth.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with different departments and stakeholders.

薪資範圍

面議(經常性薪資達4萬元)
