FOX-TECH, is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our web team in Taipei, Taiwan. As a key member you will help build and maintain our platform solution. At least 2 years of experience in developing PHP applications, working with JSON, APIs and relevant tools.
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Write code that touches all parts of the stack with a focus on the backend
- Share ownership and development of our PHP code and APIs
- Help us further transition more parts of our backend to a service-oriented architecture
- Join a supportive, cross-functional team
- Help us build and improve our products and make our users happy
- Collaborate closely with our product managers and other engineers
Requirements
1. Familiar with version control software, such as Git
2. Strong development skills in PHP
3. Experience working with Laravel Framework
4. Familiar with Javascript and AJAX
5. Passionate about contributing to a small team and helping drive our technical vision
Extra
1. AWS/GCP/Azure deployment experience
2. Experience with relational and non-relational databases
