We are looking for a Business Data Analyst with an expertise in turning data into business insight to join the FooSpace startup team.

We build an automated retail system with an exclusive shopping experience. With our technologies, much of the purchase, checkout, and payment steps associated with a retail transaction are completely automated. In the meantime, we focus on providing the right goods to the right people based on the behavioral data collected by our innovative system. Our vision is to provide the world's most pleasant shopping experience.

｜ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING ｜

• Use data to drive insight into the product, marketing, and growth
• Work with Product and Marketing teams to define problem, metrics and KPI
• Implement plenty of experiment design and post-hoc analysis - both to support product improvements and marketing decisions
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards, metric reports, and data visualizations
• Be closely involved in all major company decisions
• We’re not just looking for someone to create reports. We are also looking for someone with relentless curiosity in diving deep into our business and understanding why we are tracking and continuously making recommendations
   

｜ WE ARE LOOKING FOR ｜

• 2+ year experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role focused on marketing and product analytics
• SQL fluency with experience using a scripting language like Python or R; strong Excel fundamentals a plus
• Strong ability to define problems and KPIs. Marketing background a plus
• Experience in building dashboards - you know the trade-offs and impacts of using one metric versus another
• Amazing problem solving skills and an ability to translate complex technical topics into language everybody can understand
• Desire to work with intelligent individuals in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for learning, building, and moving fast. We highly value your ability and appetite for learning
