1. Lead the development and execution of the data strategy
2. Own the systems integration design and build
3. Plan for Big Data analytic platform
4. Define the data project scope, data architecture
5. Data warehouse design
6. Architect and design Database solutions for the enterprise
7. Lead the effort on database performance and optimization
8. Collaborate with application and business teams to align database strategy with enterprise goals and initiatives
9. Oversee data models and perform design/code reviews Lead analysis of the current/future IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
1. Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
2. Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Impala is highly desirable
3. Experience with building data quality controls and data quality monitoring tools is highly desirable
4. Experience developing cloud based data solutions is strong plus
5. Experience in designing, installing, configuring and supporting large Oracle or MS SQL Server databases
6. Proficient in data modeling with relational and star schema data modeling concepts
7. Strong Oracle/MS SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
8. Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture
9. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
10. 5-7 years of database analysis and management
11. Proven DBA experience in large enterprises
