You will be responsible for the design, test, and production of embedded software systems within Gogoro battery systems. These battery packs are smart IoT devices that function not only as carriers of energy, but also important carriers of information.
You will develop proposals and prototypes, write and execute debug plans and test suites, and produce thorough documentation both inside and outside your code. You will work closely with members of a cross-functional design team as well as with external suppliers.
Responsibilities may include:
• Real-time operating systems programming.
• Security, authentication, and provisioning mechanisms.
• Battery state-of-charge and state-of-health estimation.
• Sensors and instrumentation.
• Battery protection mechanisms.
• Embedded communication (I2C, SPI, and CAN).
• Wireless communication (NFC and BLE).
• Low-power design.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Thorough familiarity with real-time operating systems.
• Expert in C.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
