Resource and Operations Coordinator Mindworks

Do you want to support the social science team in Greenpeace? Mindworks utilizes insights from social psychology and other cognitive sciences to develop tools for Greenpeace campaigns that aim to protect our planet. Together with a team of freelancers, we support the campaigns of our Greenpeace offices from around the world. We help them to better understand their audiences so that they can design projects that change people's attitudes and behavior. We also provide training for our global staff and for other NGOs.

We are looking for a person to coordinate our project and training portfolio, our freelance contracts, internal and external communication, and our tool and training libraries. Work will be mainly of administrative and editorial nature.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to Mindworks team to prepare workshops and training (online and offline), including the preparation of materials and presentations, logistics, update the communication platforms & newsletters
  • Manages relationships (including contracts and payments) with all freelance staff
  • Ensures proper documentation of work assignments, meeting outputs.
  • Assist the team project, team communication internal & external
  • Overseeing the agenda and logistics
  • Provide support to the DM in budget management/ hiring/ line management

We are looking for a person:

  • Has an interest in the work we’re doing at Mindworks and that’s been done at Greenpeace
  • Who shares our values and the objective to change people’s attitudes and behavior, mitigate climate change and protect our oceans and forests.
  • With strong organisational skills
  • Who enjoys process management
  • Who is a good communicator in a multicultural context
  • With strong Mandarin and English proficiency.
  • A profession or academic background either in communications, design or social science is not required but an advantage

 

We offer a one year contract with an option to be extended. The position is a part-time position for 3 days per week.
