資深數據分析師 Senior Data Insights Analyst

The Senior Data Insights Analyst provides the primary data insights for income forecasting, analytical reporting, and the donor research needs of the Fundraising & Engagement Department across the regions of Greenpeace East Asia (GPEA).
Using a proficient understanding of nonprofit fundraising operations, proficiency in statistics, and other forms of income forecasting analytics, this position plays a key role in setting up the necessary information for the Data Insights Team across GPEA to adequately assess income and individual fundraising program performance. This position also plays a key role in developing internal systems for the organization to develop and track supporter behavior trends.

The Senior Data Insights Analyst supports the Deputy Executive Director and the Deputy Director - Head of Data Insights & Strategy in optimization of data tools, and development of analytics to support the growth and operations of the Fundraising and Engagement department.

Responsibilities:
Conceptual tasks, Strategy development, and/or Project management

• Manage the development and ongoing implementation of a Long Term Planning Model to forecast income across various channels to grow income and improve resource planning.
• Play a role in developing systems and best practices for supporter behaviour trend analysis.
• Work with Management and Directors to review key indicators and trends to enable effective use of reporting and visualization tools on projects; use of data to streamline operations.

Implementation

• Identify key behavior research trends; track impact on donor’s giving decisions.
• Coordinate, develop and refine performance indicators and reporting; maintain dashboards to measure and track KPIs.
• Drive the regionalization and globalization of reporting metrics, help develop best practices for reporting analytics; align metrics with other offices in East Asia and internationally.

Requirements:

• Preferably over 3 years’ experience in financial and/or customer analysis using multiple data sources
• Demonstrated ability to create and use complex and efficient SQL queries; work with Business Intelligence and data analysis software including a data warehouse and Tableau.
• Knowledge of R, Python and other data science toolsets would be desirable but not essential.
• Well established communication skills and ability to communicate complex analysis in plain English to management and senior level stakeholders.
• Degree in business analytics, statistics or a related field, postgraduate degree highly regarded.
