About the Job:
1. To manage site-based operational management services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for co-workers, visitors and customers of the store; and ensuring that the store is maintained to a common standard “In Shape as New”in order to promote and protect the IKEA brand and to ensure the IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing retailer in the local market.
2. Take lead the safety and security risk team including external guard service staff to fulfill the above policy, by conduct training to guards and co-workers, and continuously patrolling and supervising the store’s fire prevention, physical security equipment, co-worker and customer’s safety issues, in order to prevent fire, accident, internal and external crime from happening.
About the assignment:
1. Lead the management of facility services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for coworkers, visitors and customers of the store.
2. Maintain the store “In Shape as New” through leading planned, corrective and operational maintenance services and project initiative.
3. Work with store management to define store risk objectives, targets and related annually action plan by accessing current business conditions, co-worker’s safety & security awareness and outcome of commercial review.
4. Lead and responsible for the store daily safety and security operation and ensure store safety & security management meet with
IKEA group requirements and local government regulations.
5. Develop relationship with local safety & security / relevant authority as representative of store operations.
6. Secure all hardware and relevant operation of the store is safe secure, efficient find ways to streamline operations most. Cost efficient manner and maintain relationship with local government.
1. Understanding of laws in relations to security function.
2. Understanding of sefety and security function in a retail enviorment.
3. Eagerness and desire to understand the IKEA business and customer needs and infulence improvement of the business.
4. Able to identify and react to an emergency situation
5. Good conflict resolution skills
