The Foundation Services Engineering team is responsible for the core services that power the Netskope Security Cloud. These reliable, performant, highly-scalable services include all of the configuration and synchronization services that allow our platform to be elastic, the core notification service that is used by all other services, and more. 

What’s in it for you

As a member of this team you will play a key role in the continued development and scaling of the foundational services of the Netskope Security Cloud, with a focus on various aspects of Compute, such as Cluster Management, Job Scheduling, Deployment, Configuration, and more. You will be responsible for full life-cycle development including requirements analysis, technical architecture and design, implementation, testing, documentation, the recipe for deployment to production, and post production ownership. 

What you will be doing

• Design, implement, deploy, and run our compute facilities
  • Cloud cluster management
  • Distributed task scheduling
  • Automated software deployment systems
  • Configuration management server for a cloud environment
  • Templates and guidelines for service configuration.

Required skills and experience

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years experience with cloud cluster management technologies: Kubernetes (preferred) etc.

  • Multi-tenant and isolation
• CKA/CKAD certification highly preferred
• Helm experience preferred
• Familiarity with job scheduling in a distributed environment
• Public cloud administration: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
• Go, Python expertise

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
