About This Role

Kono Digital Inc. (TW) is looking for a Lead/Senior Product Manager as we embark on the next phase of our product development, serving content creators and help them build and grow their membership and subscription services . You’ll be responsible for our product lines that cover B2B, B2B2C, and B2C markets, with users ranging from publishers to independent content creators to content consumers. You’ll work with our designer and user researcher, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Content teams. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced environment building new to market products, as well as iterating on existing products for growth opportunities. This is a high growth role and we are looking for someone with the right fit in terms of skillset as well as company mission and culture.

About Kono

Founded in 2011, Kono was started by Stanford alumni and is headquartered in Silicon Valley. We’ve been building subscription based digital reading products and services for consumers and publishers. Our flagship products Kono Magazine and Kono Libraries are highly rated apps in TW, HK, US and JP. We are entering the next phase of product development, exploring opportunities within the audio content market, continuing to serve publishers and creators and their content consumers.

Your Will

  • Define the product vision and align with different stakeholders to manage the entire life cycle of the product - from idealization to find the product market fit (0-1) to grow the business (1-100)
  • Monitoring the market and developing competitive analysis to ensure the product line is adjusted to the market accordingly
  • Work closely across teams to spearhead our product roadmap, collaborating with Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing to take the roadmap from concept to reality.
  • Serve as the voice of our B2B and B2C customers. Design experiments. Use both quantitative and qualitative signals to identify customer needs and come up with product features together with Design and Customer Success team members
  • Partner with the engineering team to help find optimal solutions as well as tradeoffs as well. Commit reasonable implementation schedules for product releases
  • Identify market opportunities partnering with Business Development as well as Marketing teams and define a product vision and strategy to capitalize on these opportunities
  • Iterate on existing products based on customer feedback and user insights

You Have

  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in product management (B2B or B2C). Demonstrated track record of successfully building, shipping, and iterating on products in an agile software development environment
  • A strategic thinker who can act like the general manager of the product line you manage by knowing the product vision, how it will generate customer value and what is the differentiating advantage over its competitors
  • A genuine passion for product and an obsession over user experience. You care deeply about our users and can turn user stories into well thought out user journeys and product specs
  • Data literacy and the ability to ask the right questions in order to design experiments and user research to dig for insights
  • Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to balance multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to ask for help and how to use frameworks to solve thorny issues. You understand complex business problems and can craft effective strategies to tackle them
  • Outstanding written and verbal cross team communication skills. You thrive in teamwork. You possess the ability for independent thinking as well as the grace for constructive feedback, both taking and giving.取消
