As an Android developer on this project, your responsibilities will include:
● Working with Android Camera APIs to configure preview and capture streams.
● Designing stereo camera pipelines. Carefully consider tradeoffs between frame-rate, power consumption, quality and code maintainability.
● Integrating Lucid’s computer vision and computational photography technologies.
● Packaging the camera as a library that can be used in 3rd-party applications.
● Triaging and addressing bugs.
● Helping to define and prioritize new features.
● 2-3 years experience as a developer for Android mobile applications
● Expertise in Java
● Experience with real time graphics using OpenGL ES
● Experience working with cameras on Android
● Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
● Self-starter with ability to work independently
● Passion for doing what’s right for the customer
● BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

● Experience with the Android Native Development Kit, using C or C++
● Experience with UX or UI design
● Experience with computer vision techniques
● Experience with machine learning
● Experience with VR/AR (Oculus, Unity, Unreal, ARCore, ARKit)
● Experience with low-level optimizations on embedded or mobile platforms
