UI/UX Designer

Job Purpose

     We are looking for a creative designer who is comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment to join our product team.You will be at the forefront of our company's branding, design and customer experience, working closely with product, marketing and engineering to create highly functional, aesthetically pleasing designs. You are comfortable with experimentation, familiar with industry best practices to achieve the optimal result, and able to work with different people and personalities. We are looking for someone who is able to dive head first into product requirements and present scalable design solutions for the web and mobile software space.



Duties and Responsibilities

• Design responsive client/ customer experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Perform competitive research and be able to present analysis on the "why" or "why not" of various design decisions based on industry best practices.
• Execute all visual design phases from concepts to final delivery.
• Produce wireframes, user flows, style guides, design prototypes, and design specifications that are accessible to product, marketing and engineering teams.
• Experiment and test alternatives of existing designs and recommend improvements with measurable impact.
• Ability to articulate and present UX concepts in an easy to understand manner.
• Work with outside design resources as needed to deliver design solutions with high quality.
• Maintain an organized repository of design team's visual assets.

Education

• BA/BS or higher in Arts and Graphic Design (preferred)
   

Technical Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience as UI/UX Designer, working on both web and mobile software design products
• A portfolio that demonstrates comprehensive understanding of building customer UX from ideation to prototyping to experimentation using industry standard practice
• Proficient skills in Figma, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator and related design software
