Positive Grid is a progressive D2C music tech company. We create cutting-edge products that disrupt the norm and inspire music creation worldwide. As the ATG (Advanced Technology Group) Manager at Positive Grid, you will lead the unification of our DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and ML (Machine Learning) innovation pipelines to empower the future of intelligent audio experiences.

This position will work closely with product, software, and executive teams. Your work will shape the technology core of our next-generation smart music products by providing clear vision, technical leadership, and scalable development frameworks.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep expertise in audio and machine learning technologies, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate technical innovation into user-facing value.

【Typical Accountabilities】

1.       Own and evolve the unified DSP and ML technology roadmap, aligning it with product development priorities and business goals.

2.       Lead development of advanced audio processing systems including virtual amp modeling, tone synthesis, effects engines, and real-time audio performance optimization.

3.       Oversee ML initiatives across audio classification, parameter optimization, and MIR (Music Information Retrieval) applications.

4.       Champion the integration of modern AI-enhanced workflows and tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.

5.       Establish scalable and repeatable development processes that reduce redundancy and foster innovation.

6.       Define and implement cross-discipline collaboration between DSP and ML teams for maximum synergy and impact.

7.       Build structured knowledge-sharing workflows and documentation systems to codify expertise and support team learning.

8.       Lead the design of automated testing, benchmarking, and validation systems for audio algorithm quality and performance.

9.       Communicate technical vision, risks, and progress effectively across all levels, from engineers to executive stakeholders.

10.   Drive technical recruiting, mentorship, and leadership development within the DSP and ML teams.

條件要求

【Essential】

·       Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

·       7+ years of experience in audio signal processing and digital audio technologies.

·       5+ years of experience leading technical teams with successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects.

·       Deep knowledge of audio DSP algorithms, virtual analog modeling, and real-time implementation.

·       Practical understanding of machine learning workflows, model development, and deployment in audio contexts.

·       Strong track record of modernizing development practices to drive efficiency and innovation.

·       Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Strategic vision for how to apply emerging technologies to audio and music product ecosystems.

·       PhD in DSP, ML, or a related field.

·       Experience developing commercial audio software, plugins, or professional music production tools.

·       Prior leadership in audio product development or music tech companies.

·       Demonstrated success in implementing agile or modern collaborative development methodologies.

·       Familiarity with embedded DSP systems and resource-constrained environments.

·       Published research or patents in music/audio signal processing or machine learning.

·       Background in music production, performance, or sound engineering.

·       Experience leading technical integration projects involving multiple technology stacks or teams.
