Senior Data Analyst

Positive Grid is a progressive music tech company transforming the world of guitar and music creation through smart, AI-powered experiences. As we evolve into an AI-first organization, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can deliver actionable BI while also helping architect AI-driven analytical systems.

The BI team is undergoing a strategic transformation — shifting from reactive stakeholder support toward building AI agents, scalable data infrastructure, and self-serve capabilities. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple domains and adapt as priorities evolve.

You will work cross-functionally with E-commerce, Product, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and CRM teams across 2–3 countries. No direct people management responsibility.

Typical Accountabilities

1. Build and iterate AI agent workflows for automated reporting, anomaly detection, and decision assistance across multiple business domains

2. Architect and maintain scalable, AI-ready data marts and pipelines (BigQuery, Dataform, Looker)

3. Translate ambiguous business problems into scoped, deliverable analytics or engineering projects

4. Train stakeholders on self-serve analytics and manage operational handovers

5. Present insights and AI recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Essential

1. Experience building AI agents — has designed, deployed, or iterated on agent-based workflows that automate real business tasks

2. Hands-on with AI-assisted development — daily use of LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, RooCode/Cline) for real work, not just experimentation

3. Prompt engineering & LLM integration — can design structured prompts, chain LLM calls, and embed AI into data workflows

4. Data pipeline experience in a warehouse environment (BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent) — understands data modeling and transformation layers

5. Comfortable with GitHub — version control, branching, and collaborative development workflows

6. Proficient in SQL and Python — production-grade queries, automation, data processing, and AI integration

7. 3+ years in data/business analytics with cross-functional ownership

8. Strong problem decomposition — breaks ambiguity into actionable, scoped tasks

9. Clear business communication — explains technical trade-offs accurately to non-technical stakeholders

10. Comfortable context-switching across multiple business domains simultaneously

Desirable

1. Multi-agent orchestration (n8n, LangGraph, CrewAI)

2. Vector databases, RAG pipelines, or embedding-based retrieval

3. GCP ecosystem and Dataform for data transformation

4. E-commerce analytics, CRM journey optimization, or paid media performance

5. Experience training non-technical users on data tools
