Quid is looking for enthusiastic and entrepreneurial software developers who are highly motivated to join our development team.
You will:
• Design and implement large-scale social media cloud enterprise products with minimal supervision.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborating with product managers and UX/UI designers to ensure that the user experience is seamless and intuitive.
• Working with DevOps to deploy and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure smooth release of software.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during development and testing.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of coding standards.
You may be a good fit if you:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM (MS is a plus).
• 3+ years of working experience in software development.
• Proficiency in any back-end frameworks such as Spring boot, Node.js, Flask, or Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in any database system such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in software development principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Microservices architecture and related technolgies like Docker, Kubernetes and microservice patterns.
• Familiarity with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and algorithm skills.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for programming.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Software design principle such as Domain Driven Design.
• Familiarity with converting Monolithic architecture to Microservices architecture.
• Experience as a mentor or in leading teams.
