Quid is a pioneer in leveraging cutting-edge technology to address real-world challenges. We are looking for enthusiastic and entrepreneurial software developers who are highly motivated to join our development team.
As a Software Engineer at Quid, you will play a key role in developing and implementing robust solutions for processing and analyzing large volumes of data. You will address enterprise business requirements by analyzing statistical data and extracting insights from unstructured text, leveraging AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs) and machine learning to process social media and related data. Ultimately, you will create an automated pipeline that delivers significant value to our customers.
You will:
• Be proactive in communicating with your colleagues and seeking out solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for processing and analyzing any-scale datasets.
• Leverage your expertise to extract valuable insights to the structure analytical data.
• Design generalizing solutions by analyzing multiple requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance by testing and reviewing code.
• Adopt emerging technologies and methodologies in automation, data analytics, and AI.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during development, testing and production.
You may be a good fit if you:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• 3+ years of working experience in software development.
• Solid expertise in Python, accompanied by a deep understanding of its associated ecosystems.
• Familiar with Python software development principles and design patterns.
• Familiar with Generative AI related techs including prompting engineering and fine-tuning and experienced on using OpenAI API and self-hosting models such as llama-3.
• Familiar with relational database including schema design and aggregate result.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiar with BI solutions like Superset, Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and etc.
• Familiar with cloud storage like Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, and etc.
• Familiar with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Familiar with workflow engine like Argo workflow.
• Familiar with data process library and framework like Spark and Pandas.
