This is a rare entry-level opportunity for high-potential candidates who are interested in starting a career in HR. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues and gain first-hand experience in managing HR Operations in a rapidly scaling startup. Your contributions will directly impact employee experience at ShopBack and will provide you a firm foundation to grow as a HR professional.


  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing (for assigned countries) through ShopBack’s outsourced payroll vendor, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely payments.  
  • Responsible for employee visa application and renewal process, as well as relocation arrangements. 
  • Manage on/off boarding process and administration of all employee lifecycle records in HRIS.
  • Assist with submission of statutory reports/claims and tasks related to labor compliance.
  • Work closely with local and regional stakeholders to develop and streamline HR operations.
  • Contribute towards implementation of HR projects e.g. HR policies documentation, processes automation and implementation/roll-out of new HR systems or initiatives. 
  • Support/own projects and activities to drive engagement and culture.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned. 




  • Degree in any discipline, preferably with a strong academic background in Maths, Sciences or quantitative subjects.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and G-Suite applications. Familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive personal data professionally.
  • Good team player and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous, strong analytical thinking, organising and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and being nimble with a strong “can-do” attitude.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done.
  • Relevant work or internship experience in a startup environment and/or in a human resources function will be favorably considered. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
