Reporting to Regional GM of SBmart, as a market leader, you will be a spearhead to build and grow a new business vertical, SBmart (發票回饋) in Taiwan with a full P&L responsibility. The market leader will build and drive this new business vertical with responsibilities spanning across Commercial, Operation, Marketing, People and Partnership. The market leader will be first in line to build and grow relationships with local partners, while driving the entire marketing endeavor and operational excellence. Also, s/he will hire, engage and retain key local talents. As the business is at the nascent stage, s/he will be also heavily involved in the development of business model/strategy (monetization model) and product itself, partnering with the PEDD team (Product, Engineering, Design, and Development). Ultimately, s/he will own the financial targets of revenue growth and a profitability path.

[Responsibilities]

  • Develop, own and execute business plans with agreed financial and business target
  • Decision making of all business aspects including sales/BD, marketing, operation, and hiring while overseeing the execution
  • Take a strong lead and hands-on approach in business development, marketing endeavor and operations; determine optimal utilization of staff and resources
  • Support and lead, as necessary, new business development, including sales presentations, negotiations, nature of partnership, and other activities as needed

  • Proven experience as a market Manager or similar senior leadership role in a fast-paced technology company
  • Experience in building and scaling a new business from scratch 
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategic business plans
  • Willing to dive into work at any level as needed
  • Exposure in managing in-market operations, including building and managing functional teams across Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a flexible approach to work
  • Team player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and make things happen
  • Extremely results-driven and execution-focused, motivated and entrepreneurial; ability to own outcomes and make things happen with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent judgment and ability to build trust at all organizational levels
