program associate/program manager

While it's a fast moving and dynamic working environment, typical content of the job would be:

• Build, support and execute community and startup supporting programs for the Taiwan ecosystem
• Manage regular report preparation and presentation
• Recruit and source companies for TTA program
• Engage with TTA startups to understand company needs and develop paths/relationships to drive them toward success
• Manage and identify opportunities in order to develop partnership across corporate, investors, etc.
• Manage relationships and engage directly with senior leadership of MoST (Ministry of Science and Technology)/ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) team (when applicable
• Follow best practices and execute TTA program
• Share new best practices with the TTA team as you identify areas for innovation and improvement
• Community development and event production, in particular international trade shows

• Technology and innovation savvy is a much: always look for and want to get deeper understanding of new technology, new application and build scenario
• Relevant experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on community engagement, business development, venture capital or startup operations
• Strong interest in the discourse around startups, corporate innovation, community building and venture capital
• Experience working with/for military, government or university is a PLUS; big plus if the experience is outside of Taiwan, especially in south-east Asia/Japan/ US/Europe
• Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience
• Be willing to take challenge and comfortable commanding a room; public speaking and community development is part of the job
• Strong emotional intelligence and comfortable at working under little instruction and lots of dynamic and fast moving conditions (we are in a startup ecosystem so that's the nature!)
• Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities – we're lean so we all have to roll up our sleeves
