ViewSonic is seeking an experienced and strategic Software Product Manager to lead the product strategy, development coordination, and lifecycle management for ViewSonic’s Android and Windows launcher products tailored for corporate environments. This pivotal role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and intuitive launcher interfaces that enhance user control, simplify workflows, and optimize device management across ViewSonic’s interactive display and collaboration ecosystems.
You'll collaborate closely with internal software teams developing key tools like AirSync (screen casting), Manager (MDM), and TeamOne (corporate whiteboarding), while also managing outsourced development partners and driving user-driven innovation. You'll be instrumental in defining and executing our product roadmap, driving growth, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of our global customers, particularly across diverse markets like Europe and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
· Product Strategy & Vision:
o Define product vision, roadmap, and release plans for corporate launcher solutions across Android and Windows platforms, ensuring alignment with ViewSonic's broader business objectives.
o Work closely with leadership to define clear growth drivers, product success metrics, and strategies linking product initiatives directly to business outcomes.
o Lead product strategy definition based on robust market research, deep user insights, competitive analysis, and overarching business priorities, especially across markets (e.g., Europe and US markets).
· Product Development & Execution:
o Own the creation of clear, actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories, ensuring technical feasibility and strong product alignment across various markets.
o Oversee feature development, prioritization, testing coordination, and launch execution for launcher products. o Manage and coordinate external development vendors and internal engineering teams across multiple time zones and regions. o Partner effectively with engineering, design, QA, Technical writer, embedding system team, customer success team and go-to-market teams to ensure timely and successful product launches with high adoption and revenue impact.
o Collaborate with Product Owners of internal solutions like AirSync, Manager, and TeamOne to ensure smooth integration and unified user experience.
o Maintain detailed documentation, including functional specs, user flows, and release notes.
· User Research & Data-Driven Insights:
o Use robust user research methodologies and product analytics data to identify customer needs, validate hypotheses, prioritize product opportunities, and refine product-market fit continuously.
o Conduct competitive analysis and user research to continuously improve launcher features and user interface. o Ensure software meets regional compliance, IT security standards, and is compatible with ViewSonic’s hardware platforms.
o Support global product launches by providing input to marketing, training, and partner enablement teams.
· User Experience Collaboration:
o Work closely with UX/UI teams to define intuitive launcher experiences optimized for meeting rooms, public displays, and corporate workflows.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Product Manager, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, B2B software, Android applications, or custom launcher development.
· Experience integrating software and hardware systems, having capability in root cause analysis to pinpoint whether defects are firmware or application related.
· Demonstrated ability in planning product features and translating complex market and users' needs into clear user stories and product requirements documents (PRDs).
· Proven experience managing Android-based or Windows-based launcher products, kiosk modes, or similar workplace applications.
· Familiarity with software lifecycle management for enterprise-grade tools, especially with remote device management, content management, or whiteboarding/collaboration apps.
· Strong data-driven mindset, with experience defining product metrics, designing event-tracking plans, and applying insights from analytics tools.
· Experience working with external software vendors, development agencies, and cross-regional internal teams.
· Excellent communication skills, particularly in bridging technical and business teams.
· Proficiency in working with international teams across engineering, marketing, sales, and technical support.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Android or Windows-based application management and corporate deployment environments.
· Understanding of enterprise MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions or Content Management solutions.
· Background working with or integrating software in commercial displays, interactive panels, or UC/AV solutions.
· Experience managing third-party integrations, particularly with Android OS-level customization.
· Experience in developing and optimizing applications for Android devices compliant with Google's Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA) is plus.
