Job Description:
· Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services to support web and API platforms.
· Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver well-integrated solutions.
· Analyze business and technical requirements to propose effective backend architectures.
· Architect and lead backend system designs that support growth, reliability, and
performance.
· Scale infrastructure and services across cloud environments, particularly AWS.
· Improve developer workflows with robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
· Refactor legacy codebases to enhance readability, modularity, and system robustness.
· Troubleshoot complex issues in production and improve system observability and
reliability.
· Drive engineering best practices and enforce coding standards within the team.
· Develop backend algorithms and services that improve product intelligence and usability.
· Contribute to overall engineering strategy and long-term technology roadmaps.
· Mentor and guide team members through code reviews, architectural discussions, and
planning.
Requirements:
· Proficiency in Node.js, preferably with NestJS; experience in Java, Golang, or Python is also welcome. · Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience designing scalable, global-ready schemas. · Solid understanding of microservices architecture, gRPC, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL. · Experience with identity provider protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML2. · Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially AWS) and modern infrastructure practices. · Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows. · Proficient with GitHub and version control workflows. · Ability to quickly prototype, experiment, and iterate on new concepts and ideas. · Committed to writing clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code. · Up-to-date with current backend technologies, design patterns, and industry trends. · Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams. · Proven experience in leading engineering teams or mentoring junior developers.
