Job Description
1. Display FW / HW Functional Validation (Core Responsibility)
Perform firmware and hardware functional testing for commercial displays (CDE), LED displays, and projectors
Validate core display behaviors, including power on/off, signal switching, image stability, resolution/refresh rate, color, and display quality
2. System-Level Display Testing (EVT / DVT / PVT / MP)
Participate in display validation activities across all product development stages
Verify system stability and consistency under different display configurations, usage scenarios, and long‑term operation
3. Test Case Design & Display Coverage Management
Develop and maintain display‑centric test cases with clear traceability
Define pass/fail criteria for resolution, timing, color space, and signal formats
Plan regression coverage and identify display‑related risk areas
4. ProAV Application Scenario Validation (Application Layer)
Validate display performance in ProAV application scenarios after display stability is confirmed (e.g., multiple signal sources, long‑distance transmission, meeting rooms, and large‑venue environments)
Ensure display behavior meets expectations in real‑world ProAV usage
5. Issue Analysis, Quality Improvement & Test Efficiency
Analyze display‑related issues such as no image, flicker, image corruption, or latency
Support root cause analysis across firmware, hardware, and system levels
Contribute to test process optimization, tooling improvements, or automation to enhance test efficiency and quality
Education & Display Product Background
A. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Display Technology, or a related field , >3 years work experience.
B. Experience in commercial display, LED display, or projector products is a strong plus
Display FW / HW Testing Experience
A. Hands-on experience in firmware and/or hardware functional testing for display products
B. Familiar with functional testing, regression testing, and display-related boundary conditions
Display Technology Knowledge (Core Competency)
A. Solid understanding of display-related interfaces and technologies, including:
HDMI, DP, USB‑C, CEC, RS232/IP, EDID, HDCP, Resolution, refresh rate, color space, and display timing…..etc
B. Basic ability to identify and judge display issues such as no image, flicker, image corruption, or latency… etc
Issue Reporting & Cross‑Functional Communication
A. Ability to clearly document display issues, test results, trigger conditions, and reproduction steps
B. Capable of communicating test findings with RD, QA, and PM teams
Test Discipline & Learning Capability
A. Able to follow test SOPs, validation processes, and project schedules
B. Strong willingness to learn display system architecture, firmware behavior, and hardware design concepts
