The Supply Planner is responsible for end-to-end supply planning to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and mitigating supply risks. This role translates demand forecasts into feasible supply and production plans, balancing service, cost, and capacity constraints across the network.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Convert demand forecasts into supply and production plans that align with capacity and material constraints
• Own weekly FG replenishment to maintain target service levels while controlling inventory exposure
• Consolidate demand from subsidiaries and regional teams to create an aligned weekly supply plan and purchase order execution
• Proactively secure long lead-time raw materials to support mid- to long-term demand requirements
• Lead cross-functional prioritization during supply constraints, aligning stakeholders on business impact and driving clear allocation and fulfillment priorities
• Monitor inventory health, including slow-moving and excess stock, and drive cross-functional action plans with Sales teams
• Co-work with PM team to ensure the supply readiness for NPI, phase-in/phase-out, and last-time-buy planning, ensuring smooth SKU transitions
• Prepare seasonal or event-driven inventory builds (e.g., Chinese New Year, promotions, peak seasons)
• Develop and maintain semi-finished goods production plans, applying level-loading principles to balance capacity utilization and stabilize upstream supply
• Prepare ad hoc and regular supply chain reports to support management decision-making and business reviews
Experience & Education
• 1–5 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, or production planning within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field Skills & Knowledge:
• Advanced Excel skills
