We are looking for a skilled and experienced legal professional to join our Legal and Compliance team to lead and continue to build our APAC legal function. This role will serve as the primary legal advisor for the region, supporting business operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with global legal team at headquarters and as well as the Americas and EMEA to ensure consistent legal risk management and compliance standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Draft & review agreements in support of the regional operations, with a leaning on sales, retail, distribution, e-commerce, licensing, marketing, in accordance with internal guidelines and policies.
• Localization and implementation of Group’s compliance programs and protocols.
• Coordinate and manage any potential litigation or regulatory action that may arise in the APAC region.
• Conduct legal research and render legal advice regarding operational, commercial, employment, and general corporate matters of the APAC region.
• Build workflows for contract, compliance and other internal approval, including the introduction and implementation of a contract management system for oversea offices.
• Coordinate with global affiliates for contract reviews, compliance, and other legal requirements.
• Establish and lead a team to address complex cross-functional projects, streamline legal operations and processes, and enhance collaboration across regional offices.
• Provide legal and compliance trainings in support of the regional offices.
Experience:
• 10~15 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational corporation.
• Experience with legal affairs in the ANZ, ASEAN, or Northeast Asia regions is a plus.
• Experience with a consumer brand, especially in the FMCD industry, is a plus.

• This position shall be based in Neihu, Taipei; Singapore; or Prestons, Australia.
