Data Quality Engineer

The current team at Gogolook is mainly responsible for application development in the FinTech area. We use rich data sources to develop value models, so we are looking for data quality engineers who are passionate about data engineering validation.

As a data quality engineer, you will be responsible for validating data pipelines and ensuring the accuracy of the datasets that are produced. You will use various testing techniques including automated tests, statistical analysis tests, scripting to produce QA reports that will support the development teams and also final data quality reports to accompany the final deliverables.

The primary goal for this role is to ensure high quality of data delivered to internal stakeholders and customers. Validation of metrics and data in reports/dashboards against data in the data warehouse is a key responsibility. Principal responsibilities are to make data assets consistently accurate for users.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data quality assurance framework
• Work in conjunction with Data Analyst, PM to understand data needs and interact with Data Engineers to understand ETL practices and data models to ensure high quality data deliverable
• Analyze complex data logical to develop automated and reusable solutions for extracting requested information while assuring data validity and integrity
• Track, monitor debugging process and deliver document testing results

• 3+ years of increasing technical knowledge and growth
• Advanced in SQL and Python
• Skilled in Data Wrangling and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
• Significant data testing experience delivering value to customers
• Create test suites to validate accuracy and quality of generated data

• Team-focused
• Detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with solving undefined problems and challenges
• Effective communication and execution ability, serious and responsible work attitude

[Plus]

• Experienced working with large datasets
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or equivalent professional experience in field
