Founding Designer (Visual Designer)

Full time | Remote

We’re looking for passionate and dedicated early members to help us bootstrap the company. You’ll be joining the founding team to establish its strong foundation from the very beginning.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to experience fast growing startup at zero to one stage. It is also a position for those who value learning for long-term above earning in short-term. You will impact the company direction and help Instill AI build its strong foundation for scaling in the near future.

What you'll be doing

• Design and cohere the landing pages, web portal, pitch slides, sales deck, etc.
• Build a strong visual brand identity
• Everything visual in the company is your "playground"
• Expected to play a pivotal role in building and evolving the company design system
• Expected to work with team members that have extensive technical backgrounds

Things we'd love to see

• Up-to-date knowledge of and 3+ years experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Bonus if you are familiar with interaction design tools like Principle or After Effects
• A portfolio that highlights how you approach problems through research and validation, and the impact of your work
• Up-to-date knowledge of design guidelines
• Not afraid of getting technical: no prior developer tool experience is required, but you are excited to learn about developer workflow and application development
• A habit of following design trends on Dribbble, Behance, etc.
• UX role experience
• Proactive, self-learning, and self-aware
• Intellectual curiosity, always asking "how can we improve?"
• A strong desire to build world-class products
