Rosetta.ai helps fashion e-commerce uncover consumers' shopping preferences and provide personalized shopping experiences to consumers. We're making e-commerce merchants have enterprise-level AI backup on day 1.

As the Tech Lead at Rosetta.ai, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the technical direction of our products and leading a team of developers. You'll be responsible for overseeing both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring high-quality code, and driving technical excellence across our platform. Your expertise in technologies like vanilla JavaScript, React, PHP, Laravel, and Golang, coupled with your proficiency in testing methodologies, will be critical to the success of our projects.

 

        

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and technical growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable software applications using a variety of technologies, including vanilla JavaScript, React, PHP, Laravel, and Golang.
  • Take ownership of the technical architecture, ensuring it aligns with long-term business goals and supports scalability and performance requirements.
  • Drive and enforce coding standards, best practices, and testing methodologies across the team.
  • Lead code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to technical standards.
  • Provide hands-on coding and troubleshooting when required, serving as a technical role model for the team.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure robust testing strategies and high-quality software releases.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our technical stack.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, balancing technical needs with business goals.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar technical leadership role in a SaaS or software development environment.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend and backend technologies, including vanilla JavaScript, React, PHP, Laravel, and Golang.
  • In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset to address technical challenges and make architectural decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
