Senior Executive Human Resources

We are looking for a proactive and reliable HR Executive to join our Japan office. This role is essential in supporting both day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is experienced in HR practices in Japan and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary HR contact for Japan office, supporting both local employees and management.
• Ensure HR operations comply with Japanese labor laws and company policies (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits, etc.).
• Manage payroll processing in coordination with external payroll vendors.
• Partner with HQ HR team on global initiatives such as performance management, engagement, and policy alignment.
• Support recruitment process including job posting, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
• Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare HR reports, employee documentation, and maintain HRIS accuracy.
• Support office administration tasks where needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in an international or tech company.
• Solid understanding of Japanese labor law and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Business-level Japanese (native level) and conversational English required.
• Hands-on experience with payroll, employee benefits, and recruitment.
• Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
