As a software development engineer in test (SDET) in BlueX Trade, you will design and develop automated tests for both web applications and backend services to speed up the development process and maintain product quality.
Moreover, you will collaborate closely with product team, designers and engineers, and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team. You will help the team to deliver great products and delight our consumers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests, including web UI test, API integration test, and end-to-end test.
- Perform testing.
- Prepare and maintain the test environment.
- Define and maintain an automated test process in CI/CD pipeline.
- Work with colleagues to solve problems.
- 3+ years of work experience as a software engineer / software development engineer in test.
- Proven experience in test automation.
- Familiar with at least one programming language (Java, Javascript, Go, Ruby, and etc.)
- Familiar with continuous integration.
- Experience in working within Agile teams
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with Cypress.io.
- Familiar with K8s.
- Familiar with GraphQL.
- Familiar with protobuf and gRPC.
- Has experience in using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
