About the Role:
 We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Head of QA to lead our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring the highest levels of software quality. You will play a key leadership role in defining testing strategies, managing test plans, and advancing automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage our QA team, including manual testers, automation engineers, and QA leads.


Define and drive the QA strategy, processes, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.


Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and DevOps to align QA efforts with the overall development lifecycle.


Oversee the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test frameworks and test suites.


Monitor QA metrics and KPIs to continuously improve test coverage, speed, and quality.


Identify quality risks and provide mitigation strategies during the planning and execution phases.


Mentor and develop QA team members through performance management, career development, and technical guidance.


Manage resource allocation and project timelines across parallel initiatives.


Ensure that testing activities are conducted in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.


Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3+ years in a QA leadership or management role.


Proven experience leading large QA teams (20+ people) in a fast-paced software development environment.


Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and the SDLC.


Solid knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, etc.).


Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests in deployment workflows.


Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.


Experience working with globally distributed teams is a plus.
