You will be joining the team pursuing various of challenging goals in order to keep Alfred Camera as the best home security experience available in the market.
In this job you will be responsible to:
- Create/Maintain C/C++ implementations based on product specifications
- Address code portability issues across the products on different platforms
- Work with internal teams to design the architecture of new software components and/or products
- Port and integrate open-source software into company’s product
- Profile/Identify performance bottlenecks and apply optimizations
- Write specification and design documents - Build product prototypes from scratch
1. 5+ years working on software related to application and/or system framework on Linux
2. Solid C/C++ programming/debugging skills
3. Familiar with application development on Linux platform
4. Familiar with multimedia streaming protocols (RTP/RTSP/HLS/DASH) and video/audio codecs
5. Experiences solving issues porting open-source software stacks to another platform
6. Ability to create reliable/testable/readable implementations with high performance/portability
7. Excellent communication/documentation skills
8. Having one or more of the experiences below is a big plus:
- Linux multimedia frameworks including Video4Linux, gstreamer, and/or OpenMAX
- IoT protocols like MQTT and/or XMPP
- Hardware acceleration using OpenGL-ES and/or OpenCL APIs
- Mobile (Android/iOS) application development
- Windows application development
